Charging the Force

Normally, the Force is charged by plugging it into a 220-volt, 20A wall outlet.  The plug/receptacle is a NEMA 6-20 receptacle, similar to a standard 120-volt version, but one prong is turned 90 degrees.  Here's a photo of the receptacle:

Charging is no big deal.  Simply open the fuel door on the car, connect the cord, and walk away.  The Solectria's BC-3300 charger, made by Brusa of Switzerland, if microprocessor-controlled and fully automatic, shutting off when the batteries are at the proper level.
